About Me

I am Paolo Floccari, pharmacist and dietitian with a diverse and enriching professional journey. My path in the healthcare sector began in Bologna, where I studied Pharmacy. Subsequently, I expanded my knowledge by studying Human Nutrition and Dietetics in Madrid.

Life and Career Change

My career took a significant turn when I decided to explore new opportunities far away from my home country. I moved to Dublin, Ireland, where I worked as a pharmacist. During this time, I realized that the healthcare sector, as it is currently structured, does not always benefit patients as it should. Often, what I dispensed in the pharmacy had a limited impact on the real improvement of people’s health.

The Decision to Change

Driven by my desire to have a more direct and positive impact on patients’ lives, I decided to change my area of interest and focus on nutrition. I moved to Mallorca, where I now work as a nutritionist. This change allowed me to develop closer and more direct relationships with my patients, helping them improve their health and well-being through balanced and personalized nutrition.

Philosophy and Approach

I am a person who loves to discover and explore, qualities that led me to leave my country to experience another life in Ireland. This spirit of exploration and discovery also guides my professional approach. I firmly believe that good nutrition can have a profound and lasting impact on people’s health. Through my work, I strive to educate and empower my patients to make informed decisions about their diet and lifestyle.

I use motivational interviewing as a tool to deeply understand my patients, to focus their goals and to help them implement habit changes in a guided way.

I do not believe in a restrictive and temporary diet that helps you lose weight quickly and regain it in a short time, but in a habit change to achieve optimal physical and mental well-being.
